My grandmother, about 2 years ago, gave me her box of recipes. She passed away April 14th, 2015. My goal this year is to get as
many of her recipes onto my Cooking Blog so that I can share them with all interested family and friends.
* Great Grandmother Lela Williams handwriting :) She was Grandma Taylor's stepmother.
Ingredients:3 c flour1 1/2 c oil
3 eggs
1 c chopped nuts (she didn't use them)
2 c sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
2 c chopped bananas (or mashed)
1 flat can crushed pineapple and juice (would assume the small ones . . .)
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients add remaining ingredients. Mix well.
Bake in a tube pan for 90 minutes at 3508*
Great Grandmothers Notes: "Makes a big cake. Freezes well. I sliced mine before I froze it."
