Gma T's: Mother Nature's Munch

My grandmother, about 2 years ago, gave me her box of recipes. She passed away in April, on the 14th, 2015. My goal this year is to get as many of her favorites onto my Cooking Blog so that I can share them with all interested family and friends.
Happy 12th birthday Clayton! We love you and are so proud of your choices and decisions in your life, thus far! Keep up the great work! So proud of you for earning your Faith in God and your Religious knot! AWESOME!! Happy Priesthood, too!

Ingredients:
 2 quarts popped popcorn
1 cup cocktail Peanuts
1 cup wheat germ
1 cup seedless raisins
1/4 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup water
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
In a large bowl toss together all ingredients down to the raisins. Set aside
In a buttered 2 quart saucepan melt the butter. Stir in sugar, honey, water, and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until sugar is dissolved and mixture begins to boil.
Continue cooking until mixture reaches 250 degrees or the hard ball stage on a candy thermometer.
Pour slowly over the popcorn-peanut mixture, stir to coat.
Spread into two buttered baking sheets. Bake in a preheated 250* oven for 45 minutes, stirring every 10 or 15 minutes.
Makes about 10 cups.

Make it a great one!!
